  • o Yes, we have one Project Manager for each major job. It has always been Eric’s belief that it is most beneficial to the client and the architect to have a single Project Manager running their project. It is the best way to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency.

o Having one Project Manager per major job allows the Project Manager to develop a relationship with the clients as well as the whole team working on their project.

o It also ensures that the Project Manager has a clear understanding of the entire scope of work, and it greatly improves communication and productivity throughout the project.

o By having one Project Manager lead each major job, there is a great reduction in unforeseen delays and miscommunication. This is especially important on jobs when there are many subcontractors working on a single custom home build because there is a huge amount of information to track and lots of schedules to coordinate.

o Our Project Managers are available to talk to clients and architects throughout the project, Monday -Friday, 7am-3:30pm, giving a personalized experience every step of the way.

  • o We are in the business of building homes, and homes are very personal. We understand that. And so the most important thing about our job is communicating with our clients in order to build a trusting relationship with them. We need to really get to know them so we can build their dream home, share information pertinent to their project, and make personalized suggestions along the way. Communication is key!

o We use a residential construction management software called CoConstruct to streamline all communication with clients, architects, and subcontractors. Our clients have complete visibility and transparency through CoConstruct each day. They could be anywhere in the world and see what happened at their job that day by reading new notes and viewing the daily job log. This keeps everyone in the loop through daily centralized communication, helps clients feel that they are truly a part of their project, and keeps our architects and subcontractors in the conversation as well.

o Eric and our Project Managers are available as much as possible to talk with a client or architect. The goal is always that clients feel well cared for during the lengthy house-building process, and that they know that Eric Zahn Builders is available for full support.
